Tucked away in a quiet residential part of Ponta do Ouro, just 20 metres from the beach, Surfer’s Spot is an easy, laid-back escape ideal for families or groups looking to surf, unwind and enjoy beach life at its best. This comfortable beach house is located just one home back from the main swimming bay and a short walk from local markets, restaurants, and surf spots — including one of Africa’s longest waves. Surfer’s Spot sleeps up to 9 guests in three air-conditioned bedrooms: • Bedroom 1: Queen bed with en suite bathroom (large shower, toilet, double basin) – Sleeps 2 • Bedroom 2: Queen bed and 1 single bed – Sleeps 3 • Bedroom 3: Two bunk beds – Sleeps 4 • Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom with shower, toilet, and basin • All beds have custom-made mosquito nets The home includes a separate children’s lounge with books, a TV, and soft seating — the perfect space for little ones to relax and play while adults enjoy the main lounge or outdoor entertainment area. The fully equipped kitchen includes: • Gas hob and electric oven • Microwave • Fridge and freezer • Coffee machine • Kettle • Washing machine • All cutlery, crockery, and cookware for self-catering The open-plan living and dining area flows through sliding doors into a lush, private garden with shaded seating and a built-in braai. A large wooden dining table seats 9 guests comfortably, creating an inviting outdoor space to gather after long beach days. Private Swimming Pool Surfer’s Spot now features its own private swimming pool — ideal for cooling off in the afternoons or enjoying relaxed poolside days in the sun. Should the property be booked by a group of youngsters, kindly NOTE no under 25's without parental/adult supervision. WHAT TO BRING Please bring your own beach towels, soap and personal toiletries. Drinking water Food and drinks Staff Tip There is a housekeeper and gardener at the house. Gina the housekeeper keeps the house clean and tidies beds and cleans rooms and toilets. Loads the dishwasher and prepares breakfast table and braai etc. Hortencio is the gardener, he assists around the house. They are to be tipped R40 each per day, this includes the day of arrival and departure. Housekeepers working hours Gina - 7:30 to 16:30 Hortencio - 6:00 to 10:00 and 15:00 to 19:00 REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT An R3000 refundable deposit for breakage/damage/loss needs to be paid 1 month before arrival. This is refunded 14 days after your departure date depending on damage/loss/breakage at the house. EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, check out no later than 3 pm. No pets are permitted at any of the GoBundu houses. Loud music, parties, and functions are not allowed. All guests must comply with the rules of the estate in which they are staying. Absolutely no noise is allowed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Failure to comply will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights
