Just for feedback to the owner, it rained heavily on the one day and the living room leaked over the coffee table, they just need to know so they can fix it. Not bad. I also found the mosquito net very dusty, so elected not to use it as it aggravated my allergies. It just needs a good wash.

Establishment Review:

This accommodation is outstanding - there were 13 adults and it accommodated us all easily! The view is outstanding. Our overseas family were absolutely blown away and loved the authentic feel of our accommodation and what Ponta Malongane and Ponta de Ouro has to offer!

Consultant Review:

All dealings with booking this accommodation has been incredible. The highlight was being given Annibal's contact details as the taxi driver to get our overseas family from Kruger to Marazul and then on to King Shaka airport at the end of our stay - a fabulous connection!

Things to improve:

Honestly, the place is incredible, the view amazing and Celeste the housekeeper is lovely. However, the water pressure for the showers in both upstairs bathrooms was a nightmare and seriously needs to be addressed. A 4 slice toaster would have been beneficial as making toast with a 2 slice toaster for such a big crowd was hard work. An extra kettle would also be a help for such a big crowd! Just some suggestions but our overall stay was amazing.

A beautiful home, in a beautiful place. Home is neat and tidy with many spaces and loads to do. Staff were great, helpful. We would love to return.

Things to improve:

The 3rd bed in the main room for a younger child needs to be explained. Placement of children and knowledge thereof would help. Not a big deal.

Hob is a major problem as turns off and does its own thing - would replace with gas hob. Suggest gas braai for the deck Suggest ice machine pantry gets direct sunlight in the afternoon - blinds

Needs abit of updating. Clean linen, but can be updated. Bathroom shower floors need to be redone, clean but felt dirty because of the look. Linen could of been changed after 2 or 3 days. And Bath towels refreshed. Helpers should be told to arrive early on the day of departure, because most departures is before 7am. So we had no help on departure and the stairs are steep to go up and down with heavy bags. Microwave is not constant, heats on and off, needs to be checked. Please consider WIFI. All aircons did not work for 1 day, not sure if there was a power issue. The verandha lights did not work most nights, was very dim, we used cell phone flash lights when sitting on the verandha... lights kept on dimming. The flushing mechanism of one of the toilets broke. on investigation, we saw it had already been glued multiple times. Should get this changed. Good views, too many stairs to go up and down to beach, driving to Do Ouro was easier. Friendly staff. Not sure why the house rocks, was a bit unsettling for some of the guest.

Great place for a holiday. House was adequate for our needs. Restaurant was very accommodating with spectacular views. Setting within forest was superb. Maid service was excellent. Couldn't have been better. We were more than happy with the establishment.

Appreciated all the guidance given to prepare us for the vacation at Alfie's Place. It was very informative. Communication was prompt. A real pleasure to deal with.

Things to improve:

We loved the place. Spacious and relaxing. Air-conditioning made for a comfortable stay. Rooms were spacious. Balcony views looking out to Ponta do Ouro were captivating. Balcony doors need some repairs. So too the lock on the entrance door. Fridge doesn't work well. Had to use the freezer as a refrigerator. Recommend some lighting up the stairway.
