POINT OF VIEW VILLA:The design of the generous interior spaces juxtaposes the striking colours and geometric shapes of Zulu, Xhosa and Ndebele beadwork (both modern and antique) surrounded by fine collectible pieces of antique African Art set against opulent marble surfaces, large expanses of glass, formal wood panelling and vibrant oil paintings portraying the life and times of District Six.The Villa consists of 5 executive bedrooms, 3 of which are sea facing. Avoiding the decor cliche of a marine theme, the rooms are instead brightened by the fabrics, colours and textures of African craft elevated to charming and enduring works of art. On this level you will find an entertainment area leading to a secluded inner courtyard and splash pool with built in barbeque area. An open plan fully equipped kitchen looks onto a large comfortable lounge and family dining area. An intimate separate discussion room and a private outdoor dining area complete the beach level area.Retreat up the wood panelled staircase to your choice of bedroom suite. There are five luxury suites, three of which are sea facing. One of the other two non sea facing suites has its own large balcony. Even though this balcony offers sea views it is comfortably secluded. This suite also offers access to a fully sound proof smaller inter leading suite, ideal for a young child accompanying the parents. All five suites are unique in design.
