Kingfisher Bush Lodge opened its doors in May 2018 and has already had many guests from around the globe visiting this unique part of South Africa. The lodge border’s iSimangaliso Kosi Bay Reserve and is approx. 1.6km from third lake, Lake Nhlange. In February 2020, the Lodge received 4 stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGSA) in the Nature’s Lodge category. The property has the following accommodation available: 4 x LUXURY TENTED EN-SUITE CHALETS: Fully equipped air-conditioned units with small kitchenette and private braai (BBQ). Basic amenities supplied, incl. tea/coffee – sleeps 2 (extra bed can be arranged for 3rd person to share) 4 x STANDARD SAFARI TENTS: Comfortable Safari tents on concrete platform. These units share three ablution units and a fully equipped communal kitchen. Each unit has its own workstation, fridge and private (BBQ) braai facilities. Units with loose standing fan. Tea/Coffee available in the communal kitchen – sleeps 2 people. Accommodation Restaurant Tourist info Centre Activities booking office 2 x LUXURY FAMILY EN-SUITE TENT: Fully equipped air-conditioned unit with small kitchenette and private braai (BBQ). Basic amenities supplied, incl. tea/coffee. This newly finished unit can comfortably sleep a family of five. The Unit has a queen size bed, a bunk bed, and a single bed/sleeper coach. Suitable for a couple with 2 small children under the age of 12years with and extra adult/minor to sleep on the single bed/sleeper coach. Facilities on the property as follows; RECEPTION: Our reception is available from 7h00 till 20h00 daily to assist with check in/check out as well as any guest relations. RESTAURANT: Our Ala Carte restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We can also arrange for lunch packs and picnic baskets. LOUNGE: Relax in the communal lounge with a wide variety of books to relax on bad weather days. SWIMMING POOL: A beautiful swimming pool is available exclusive for guests. Swimming towels are available on request with no extra charge to our guests. BREAKFAST: Full English Buffet breakfast is served at the restaurant from 7h30am to 9h30am. Should guests need to leave earlier, we will gladly arrange breakfast packs on our bed and breakfast plans. WiFi: Free wireless internet is available in all public areas. CHECK-OUT TIME: Check-out time is 10h00. Guests are most welcome to store luggage, should they need to go on an early excursion on their day of check-out. BOOKING OFFICE – ACTIVITIES: Our team will gladly assist in booking any of the various excursions and activities that Kosi Bay and nearby Mozambique has to offer.
