Guests are welcome to relax in our scenic peaceful gardens, take a dip in our sparkling heated pool, or enjoy their own private courtyards offered by our luxury rooms. Grace View Guesthouse is in a tranquil neighborhood ensuring that our guests can enjoy the peace, quiet and privacy large cities so often deny. As we strive to provide our guests with a luxurious and memorable stay, we only make use of the finest quality linen and carefully curated complimentary amenities. To ensure that none of our guests are denied a generous hearty meal, Grace View makes use of one of the highest rated offsite catering services in Secunda. From traditional meals to carefully plated designer meal options, we cater to your every need and dietary requirements. All our meal offerings are available by prior arrangement and can be enjoyed in our dining room or in the comfort of your room. Breakfast is of course, served in true South-African style in our dining room between 07:30 and 09:00. For our extended stay guests, we offer a full laundry service. By prior arrangement our dedicated staff will ensure that our guests have perfectly laundered and pressed clothing. Every one of our meticulously appointed rooms boasts a flat screen TV, with over 18 channels available for our guests to enjoy. The Cottage offers a smart TV where guests can cast their favorite programs directly from their mobile devices. Guests can enjoy viewing sporting events in our lounge area. As we value not only our guests, but their property as well, each guest has a dedicated parking bay allocated to them upon checking in. The parking area is monitored by CCTV, electric fencing and a smart motorized gate motor. Grace View is protected by the area’s top armed response unit, 24-hour CCTV monitoring and well gated and fenced to ensure our guests are as safe as possible during their stay
Terms and conditions: 1. General Upon payment for booking, these Terms and Conditions ("terms and conditions") are considered accepted. While policies may vary when booking through third-party sites, it's advised to thoroughly review the relevant online policies and confirmation emails. In case of conflicting terms and conditions, ours will always take precedence. Smoking is strictly prohibited within indoor areas, including rooms, the pool area, conference room, garden. A fine of R1500 will be imposed for smoking violations. Designated smoking areas are available for guests' convenience. Grace View Guest House has dedicated parking bays for each of our guests, numbered accordingly. Please ensure that you make use of your dedicated parking bay only. Should an extra parking bay be required, kindly discuss this with management before arrival. Grace View Guest House has both an electrical and water backup system. In the unlikely event that our systems should malfunction, we will endeavor to rectify this on the same day to ensure our guests' comfort. We do, however, take no responsibility in the unlikely event that our backup systems malfunction, and these services are interrupted. Should any of our backup systems malfunction, this will not qualify the guest for any form of refund or discount on any monies paid. We refrain from outsourcing services to third parties on your behalf in case of incorrect deposits, refunds are only processed after bank clearance and are reimbursed directly into the original payer’s account, minus any associated fees. Grace View Guest House reserves the right to dismiss any Guest or visitor failing to adhere to these terms and conditions, causing disturbance, posing a risk to others' well-being or the Guest House’s reputation, or engaging in unacceptable behavior. Examples of unacceptable behavior include excessive noise, property damage, or disregard for other guests' comfort. Some rooms may require navigating stairs for access. However, all such stairs will be prompted by clear warning signs. Guest registration in writing prior to arrival is mandatory, with proof of identity possibly requested upon check-in. Without positive identification, we may restrict entrance. Only registered Guests are allowed access to the premises. Written approval for any additional guest(s) must be obtained from the Guest House Manager for a restricted time of visit, but they may not be allowed in the rooms or the Swimming pool area. Credit card facilities are available at reception. No cash transactions are accepted on-site. Room availability is subject to change, and Grace View Guest House reserves the right to decline bookings if warranted. In the event of early departures, full payment of the initially booked room(s) rate will be required, unless otherwise agreed upon with Management. 2. Cancelation policy Deposit: To secure a booking, a 50% deposit is required. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit. Late bookings: Bookings made within 7 days of the intended stay require full payment at the time of booking. The following cancellation policy applies: Forfeit 100% of your total amount paid if you cancel 14 days before arrival Forfeit 50% of your total amount paid if your cancel 21 days before arrival and, Forfeit 25% of your total amount paid if you cancel 30 days before arrival. 3. If a guest has not checked in by 21:00 without prior notification of a late arrival, the booking will be considered canceled. A penalty of R 400.00 may be charged for arrivals after 18:00 without prior arrangement. 5. General Rules Pets are not allowed within the premises of the Guesthouse. Guests are prohibited from removing towels, bedding, utensils, furniture, equipment, or any other items belonging to the Guesthouse from their designated rooms or common areas. As the Guesthouse is a shared space, guests are expected to maintain acceptable levels of ambient noise. The management reserves the right to monitor and regulate noise levels, especially between 22H00 and 07H00 The Guesthouse retains the right to charge guests for the replacement, deep cleaning, or repair of any items belonging to the Guesthouse or other guests, damaged by the guest or anyone under their care or responsibility, whether intentionally or due to negligence. The Guesthouse reserves the right to charge for the replacement of any missing items discovered after the guest's departure. For any commercial activities, including photo shoots, conducted on the premises, prior written consent from the Guesthouse Manager is mandatory. 6. Disclaimer notice/ Indemnity All Guests, along with their family members, visitors, or invitees, assume full responsibility for entering or residing at the premises of the Guesthouse. The Right of Admission is reserved. Upon entering, residing, or engaging with the Guesthouse, its staff, contractors, owners, and agents, all Guests/visitors are expressly bound by this indemnity. The individual booking the Guesthouse is responsible for informing all Guests/visitors in their party of the contents herein, and all such individuals shall be considered bound by the provisions contained herein. All Guests and visitors agree to indemnify the Guesthouse, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and hold them harmless against any acts, occurrences, or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise, directly or indirectly related to their presence at the Guesthouse. This includes, but is not limited to, theft, damage, injury, loss, or death, to their person and/or property, including any motor vehicle parked at the safety of the Guesthouse, any service interruptions, injuries due to non-conformity with these terms and conditions or the House Rules, misuse of facilities, intoxication, and disorderly conduct. Any justifiable claims against the Guesthouse shall be limited by its applicable insurance cover. In addition to the above, Guests and visitors hereby indemnify the owners against any claims arising from any cause, including the owners’ default, negligence, or otherwise. While the Guesthouse employs top-level security services to maintain premises security, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, including cash, jewelry, electronic equipment, camping gear, sports and recreational equipment, or motor vehicles, regardless of the cause, during the Guest's stay. The Guesthouse does not provide any warranties or guarantees beyond those outlined in these terms and conditions. By reading this General Indemnity and Disclaimers, Guests/visitors acknowledge their understanding and agreement to these terms and conditions, as well as any applicable House Rules established by the Guesthouse. These may include rules regarding Wi-Fi usage, alcohol purchase, Covid/health regulations, water and electricity conservation, recycling, and guest privacy matters. Any incidents, injuries, damages, thefts, or losses must be reported immediately to the Guesthouse's duty representative, and the individual reporting the incident must complete any required forms as requested by the Guesthouse. The Guesthouse features a swimming pool without lifeguards on duty. Guests/visitors enter the pool area at their own risk. Children must be under responsible adult supervision. The Guesthouse also provides an outdoor braai area which Guests/visitors may use at their own risk, adhering to all relevant fire regulations and by-laws. Any damages resulting from unattended fires or hot coals will be the responsibility of the Guest/visitor 7. The Guest consents, in accordance with POPIA, to the Guesthouse collecting, storing, and processing their personal information to provide the services agreed upon in the booking, as well as any additional services in the future, including notifications about special offers and inclusion in the Grace View guesthouse’s mailing lists (with an opt-out option). Grace View guesthouse shall observe all laws, policies, and procedures related to the protection, storage, handling, privacy, processing, and retention of data, as well as the destruction of such data, including personal information. Grace View guesthouse agrees not to sell, offer for sale, or otherwise dispose of any personal data obtained through any booking, nor will they create or permit any encumbrance over such data. The Guest agrees to provide complete and accurate information when making a booking and to update this information as necessary.
