Take a boat trip to Seal Island, whale watching (from July - November), shark-cage diving and scuba diving, walk the Oyster Catcher Trail along the coast from a Khoi San cave ending at the Gouritz River mouth, or take a helicopter flip over the town and bay (in season only). Bungee jumping, bridge swinging and abseiling are available half an hour away.We also have several beaches one of which is Santos which is two minutes in the car or you can walk it in ten. This beach in particular normally has small waves which makes it ideal for small children or serious swimmers. The Mossel Bay Golf Club is just up the road where you can see the sea from every tee.Mossel Bay is also a very historical town.
