The loft mattresses are strictly for children under 12 and may not be used by adults. The penthouse suite is reserved for adults only. BEDROOM LAYOUT Bedroom 5 is a separate standalone unit situated behind the main house and does not have sea views. LOFT & CHILD SAFETY Children using the loft sleeping areas must be supervised by an adult. Parents are responsible for ensuring the loft areas are suitable for their children. SWIMMING POOL SAFETY The private swimming pool has no safety net or fence. Children must be supervised at all times around the swimming pool, elevated areas and beach walkway. Use of the swimming pool and associated facilities is strictly at guests’ own risk. 4X4 ACCESS A 4x4 vehicle is compulsory for access to Aloha Estate. No 2x4 vehicles are permitted. Tyre pressure should be reduced to approximately 1.2–1.5 bar when driving on the sandy estate roads. Parking is available for approximately five vehicles. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Standard check-in: 14:00. Standard check-out: 10:00. Staff are available until 16:00. Guests arriving after 16:00 must collect their keys from estate security. Staff assistance with offloading and check-in will not be available after this time. STAFF & COMPULSORY CLEANING FEES Aloha 2 has a full-time housekeeper who cleans the house, makes beds and washes dishes. A compulsory cleaning fee of R100 per day applies, including arrival and departure days. For groups of 10 or more guests, an additional housekeeper is required at R100 per day, also including arrival and departure days. These fees are payable directly to the housekeepers on departure. LAUNDRY The washing machine is for staff use only. Guests may not operate it themselves. LINEN & TOWELS Bed linen and bath towels are supplied. Guests must bring their own beach towels. DRINKING WATER The property uses borehole water. Guests must bring their own drinking water. SOLAR POWER & ELECTRICITY Aloha 2 has a solar power system. As the property is situated in a remote coastal area, temporary electricity interruptions may still occur. Water supply may also be affected if pumps are unable to operate. An additional fee of R1,500 applies and will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit. The latest permitted check-out time is 15:00. GROUP BOOKINGS No groups of guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. HOUSE & ESTATE RULES No pets, parties, functions or loud music are permitted. Guests must comply with all Aloha Estate rules. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00. Failure to comply will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again, the full refundable breakage deposit will be forfeited.
